I am a typical little boy who loves to play, dance, and rough house with my dad. I see the world from a different point of view. I was born with eyes that don't work the same as most people. The doctor's call it Optic Nerve Hypoplasia(ONH). Some may think that I can't do a lot of things because of my eyes, but I would like to show you that I can. I just do them a little differently.
Kowin has now been in school for almost a year. He LOVES it. Sometimes I think the only reason he goes is so he can ride the bus to and from school. These are some of the common things he says lately about school or the bus.
"We ride on the bus with Pops."
"I go to the gym with Mr. Charlie today. "
"Time for O.T."
I can always tell what the teachers are saying to him when he comes home saying things I've never said before. Like...
"Kowin, look at you go"
"Kowin your doing soooo good"
I wish you could hear him talk. His sweet voice just makes it all the better. Anyway, we love school and all of our teachers. And of course the Bus!

Kowin is talking up a storm lately... and we LOVE it! So of course like any proud parent, we feel we need to share with EVERYONE all the funny and cute things that come out of a 2 year olds mouth.
"It's a muffin" this can be anything... and most the time, it's not a muffin.
"I muv you" it means I love you, but he pronounces his L like an M.
"It's impossible" he actually says this one really clearly... and I still have no idea where he picked it up from.
"I get out?" this was his favorite line traveling from WA to UT. This is just a guess... but I'm thinking he wanted out of his car seat. Come on it was only a two day trip. (at least he asked nicely)
"doo doo... wat wat" This is like a little jig that he sings. I still don't know what it means or where he picked it up from. If he came up with it on his own... good job! Cause it's actually very catchy.
